FIELD: hydropower engineering.
SUBSTANCE: measuring equipment in hydropower engineering used to measure parameters of wave motion and generation of electrical energy. A wave recorder-wave electric generator contains a pontoon 1 with adjustable buoyancy, on which an impeller 2 with an electric generator 3 and a box-shaped wave receiver located behind the wheel 2 in the direction of wave movement are located. Measuring instruments are connected to the output of generator 3, and ballast resistors 8 are connected through switch 7. At the entrance of pontoon 1, on the side of wave movement, a confuser slope made of adjustable shields 9 is installed. The upper plane of the pontoon 1 is located at the level of undisturbed water and angular drain thresholds 14 are installed on it after the wheel 2 in the direction of wave movement. Above the wave receiver 4, the lower part of the drain box-shaped chute 15 is installed with support on the pontoon 1, which has at its upper end a hinged plate-valve resting on the upper part of the wave receiver, and a common storage tank 18 connected to the upper part of the wave receiver. The lower end of the chute 15 is located above the centre of the wheel 2 and is directed towards its blades.
EFFECT: combining the functions of a wave recorder with a wave electric generator.
