METHOD OF PREVENTING DEVELOPMENT OF SILICOSIS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61N1/18 A61H7/00

Abstract RU 2813084 C1

FIELD: medicine; occupational pathology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to prevent the progression of silicosis caused by exposure to highly fibrogenic dust. A therapeutic complex of measures is performed. First exposure to Khivamat® 200 Evident is performed using the following parameters: technique — contact, labile, alternating low-frequency electric field of high intensity. The shape of the pulses is rectangular and biphasic, the mode of influence is variable, the mode of the ratio between the duration of the pulse and the pause is 3:1, 1:2 and 1:1, the intensity of the effect of the applicator on a person is determined individually according to tolerance of 60–80%. The size of the hand-held applicator moving along the chest is 95 mm, the frequency of the output signal: first, high frequencies are applied for 5 minutes, then medium frequencies are used for 10 minutes and then to low frequencies are used for 5 minutes with the addition of the “flash” mode. The total duration of the procedure is 20 minutes, the course of treatment is 10 procedures daily. Then selective vasoactive electrical stimulation is performed from the LymphaVision device using the following parameters: the first electrode is located on the right shoulder girdle, the second electrode is on the plantar surface of the right foot, the third is on the plantar surface of the left foot, the fourth is on the left shoulder girdle, low-frequency pulse current is used, frequency is 1–2 Hz. The program is: 1 procedure — “prevention”, from the second procedure — “stimulation”, the total duration of the procedure is 20 minutes, the course of treatment is 10 procedures daily. Then group dry salt aerosol therapy is carried out from the “АСА-01.3” apparatus using the following parameters: NaCl concentration in the air is 6 mg/m3, concentration dynamics is constant, total duration of the procedure is 45 minutes, course of treatment is 10 procedures daily. Then massage of the chest muscles is performed for 25 minutes, sequentially including a preliminary massage of the soft tissues of the chest, massage of the pectoralis major muscles, massage of the serratus anterior muscle, massage of the intercostal muscles and exit points of the perforating branches of the intercostal nerves, the course of treatment is 10 procedures daily.

EFFECT: increase in the body's antioxidant response, restoration of the ciliary apparatus of the mucous membrane of the tracheobronchial tree damaged by contact with highly fibrogenic dust, and reduction of dust depots in the lymph nodes.
