FIELD: nuclear and renewable power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: multicomponent power plant includes wind-driven power plant and nuclear power plant. Wind-driven power plant includes wind turbine, engine room, hollow tubular tower, tower base. Nuclear power plant includes reactor plant with nuclear reactor and sealed enclosure of reactor plant. Reactor plant is placed in the inner cavity of the tower of the wind-driven power plant. Function of sealed enclosure of reactor plant for protection of personnel and population from ionizing radiation is performed by radiation protection, made in form of annular structure enclosing nuclear reactor from outside opposite to active zone, containing substances which well decelerate and absorb neutrons, as well as substances which absorb gamma radiation well. Function of sealed enclosure to prevent the spread of released radioactive substances beyond the boundaries of the sealed enclosure, as well as the function of a sealed enclosure for protection of the reactor plant from external extreme natural and man-made effects is performed by the walls of the tower of the wind-driven power plant together with additional partitions in amount required and sufficient to ensure tightness of cavity inside said tower, in which there is a reactor plant, together with a sealed lock and sealed penetrations in the walls of said tower. In the second version, the nuclear reactor is placed in the inner cavity of the floating or ground base of the wind-driven power plant.

EFFECT: eliminating the need to erect (manufacture) a separate structure, the main purpose of which is to perform the function of a sealed enclosure to prevent the spread of released radioactive substances beyond the boundaries of the SE, as well as SE functions for protection of reactor plant from external extreme natural and man-made effects.
