FIELD: organic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry and specifically to a novel energy-intensive heterocyclic compound used as a component of explosive compositions. According to the invention, compound is 3-(4-nitratomethyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)-4-nitro-1,2,5-oxadiazole. Invention also relates to a method of producing a compound according to the invention, which is carried out by oxidation of 4-amino-3-(4-hydroxymethyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)-1,2,5-oxadiazole with concentrated hydrogen peroxide in the presence of concentrated sulfuric acid, with subsequent reaction of formed 3-(4-hydroxymethyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)-4-nitro-1,2,5-oxadiazole with a nitrating agent.
EFFECT: disclosed is 3-(4-nitratomethyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)-4-nitro-1,2,5-oxadiazole for use as a component of explosive compositions.
