FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of reducing nitrogen oxide NOx emissions from a rotary kiln of cement production. Described is a method of reducing emissions of nitrogen oxides from a rotary kiln of cement production, which provides for supply through a fuel nozzle of a dusty fuel mixture consisting of a solid fuel and a carbonate component having moisture content of not more than 5%, obtained by joint grinding to residue on sieve No 008 from 5 to 20% of solid fuel and carbonate component, amount of which is up to 50% of the weight of the dust-like fuel mixture, and its discharge rate from the fuel injector is 40–120 m/s.
EFFECT: reduction of NOx emissions from the rotary kiln into the atmosphere during solid fuel combustion.
