FIELD: power engineering; steam turbine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the design of working blades of highly loaded cylinder stages of axial steam turbines in the low pressure part. The working blade of a steam turbine has an airfoil profile of variable height with inlet and outlet edges, made as a single unit with a fishbone type shank connected to the airfoil profile along its root section and a shroud flange connected to the airfoil profile along its peripheral section. In each section along the height of the airfoil profile there is a largest inscribed circle corresponding to the maximum thickness of the airfoil profile section, and the orthogonal projection of the center of the largest circle inscribed onto the chord of the airfoil profile specifies the projection point. The radius of the trailing edge is constant over the entire height of the airfoil. The ratio of the maximum thickness of each section of the airfoil to the distance from the leading edge to the point of projection onto the chord is in the range from 27 to 88, and increases monotonically from the root section along the height of the airfoil profile and reaches its greatest value in the section whose height is 0.6-0.75 of the airfoil profile height, and then, to the peripheral section, decreases monotonically. The ratio of the maximum thickness of the root section to the radius of the trailing edge of the root section is in the range from 10 to 20, and the ratio of the maximum thickness of the peripheral section to the radius of the trailing edge of the peripheral section is in the range from 2.5 to 5.0.
EFFECT: increasing the operational reliability of the steam turbine while simultaneously ensuring an increase in the relative internal efficiency of the steam turbine.
