FIELD: hypersonic aircraft.
SUBSTANCE: method for designing a hypersonic aircraft and a hypersonic aircraft designed using the method refer to means for designing structural elements of hypersonic aircraft (HAC), including unmanned aerial vehicles, using automated calculation of aerothermodynamic and thermal strength characteristics. The method for designing a hypersonic aircraft is carried out using a device for the design of hypersonic aircraft, consisting of an initialization unit, an external appearance research unit, a power plant research unit and a post-processing unit. The method for designing a hypersonic aircraft consists in creating a 3D model of the aircraft or power plant, creating a surface and volumetric mesh for the 3D model, conducting computational studies of the 3D model, visualizing a graphical representation of the results of the computational studies and generating a report on the computational studies performed.
EFFECT: method for designing a hypersonic aircraft and a hypersonic aircraft designed using the method make it possible to improve the aerodynamic quality.
