FIELD: mineral processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates namely to methods for processing diamond ore using physical effects, and can be used for automated control of processing and separation processes. Diamond simulator for automated control systems for separation processes of diamond-containing raw materials is made of a binder, weight, magnetic, colour and luminescent components and contains a simulator body and core. The body of the simulator is made of a mechanical mixture of a binder, colour and luminescent components. A substance based on hydrocarbon polymers, transparent to X-ray radiation, is used as a binder. Inside the body of the simulator there is a core made of a weight component with a magnetic component located in the centre of the core. Substances with a density of more than 11 g/cm3 are used as a weight component. The binder has a density of more than 1.2 g/cm3. Lead or tungsten is used as a weight component. A neodymium magnet in the shape of a cylinder is built into the weighing component.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of automated control by increasing the accuracy of simulator identification.
