FIELD: recycling of polymers; ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to complex waste-free recycling of organic polymers. The method includes sorting of polymer waste, mechanical grinding, physical, chemical and biochemical effects using depolymerization, thermal destruction, hydrolysis and microbiological recycling of organic polymers. Processed polymers allow the presence of impurities of thermoplastic copolymers, alloying additives, thermosetting additives, as well as copolymers or block copolymers of substances with polar bonds of carbon and/or hydrogen with heteroatoms. The process is carried out by transforming polymers into monomers on several simultaneously operating interconnected technological lines, which produce either monomer units suitable for polymer synthesis or chemical processing products: carbon, carbon monoxide, calcium carbide, aluminium carbide, hydrogen, methane, acetylene, hydrogen chloride, chlorine, which are used in organic synthesis processes. At the same time, the stoichiometric balance of the entire process of polymer regeneration is maintained, for which the products of polymer destruction, which are of little use for the synthesis of monomer units, and by-products of parallel chemical reactions, which are excessive in terms of the multiplicity of stoichiometric ratios, are subjected to microbiological processing, using them as sources of carbon and/or energy with the production of monomers and oligomers of biological origin, carbon dioxide and water.
EFFECT: expanding the range of produced monomers without the formation of toxic waste, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and implementing the cycle of organic polymers through a series of sequential selective chemical reactions in a closed system with arbitrary organic polymers at the input, and only water, nitrogen and target products at the output.
