SUBSTANCE: device for monitoring living vegetation and visualizing the characteristics of photosynthesis activity includes a device for shooting with an optical filter, a processor containing connectors for connecting a power source and an external computer, memory made in the form of a random access memory device, a data storage device in the form of a flash memory card, low-level interfaces , which are standard tools for connecting and working with a USB device, a network communication tool that provides network reception and transmission of data - a Wi-Fi module, as well as a common bus for connecting device components and data transmission. The device is made in a mobile form factor with the possibility of installation in close proximity to the plant. A single-board microcomputer is used as a processor, which acts as a controller for a device for shooting with an optical filter that transmits only the red and near-infrared spectra. A single-board microcomputer is installed in a detachable housing and contains built-in software that provides the ability to obtain, process and visualize data on the state of a plant object, providing its own user graphical web interface. The split housing is made of wear-resistant thermoplastic by injection moulding and consists of a lid and a bottom. The bottom is made with perforations for cooling a single-board microcomputer installed with a gap above the bottom, and contains holes for low-level interfaces. The cover is made with a through hole equipped with a C/CS standard fastening unit for installing a shooting device with an optical filter.

EFFECT: creation of a mobile device with a universal system for obtaining, processing and visualizing data on the state of a plant, having its own user interface and computing resources for use as an embedded system.
