FIELD: ammunition testing.
SUBSTANCE: ammunition is blasted in blasting chamber with slot. Set of ammunition is successively detonated with full coverage of the inlet wall of the compartment. At each successive blasting, the fragmentation fields of ammunition destruction are recorded at the specified distances relative to the blasting chamber. By successively increasing the density of the ammunition destruction field, complete destruction of the compartment is achieved due to the airstrike. Critical average maximum pressure of the air impact is measured. Critical energy of the air strike, specific critical energy of the flow of damaging elements and the value of the critical indicator of the air strike are calculated. Device comprises an explosion chamber, a standard compartment with replaceable walls, measurement units, proximity sensors, analogue-to-digital converters, memory units, a transmitting device, a receiving device, an interface device, and a microcomputer.
EFFECT: higher information content of tests due to additional determination of structure of fragmentation fields of ammunition, acting on inlet wall of compartment.
