SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used to restore anterior stability of the elbow joint in posterior dislocation or subluxation of the forearm in combination with a marginal fracture of the head of the radial bone. A subcapital transverse osteotomy of the radial bone is performed. An external rotation of the head of the radial bone is carried out while maintaining the alignment of the head and diaphysis of the radial bone; the head is rotated outwards and backwards so that the fracture zone does not come into contact with the articular surface of the radial notch of the ulnar bone with maximum supination of the forearm. It is followed by osteosynthesis and restoration of the ligamentous apparatus of the elbow joint.

EFFECT: method provides reliable anterior stability of elbow joint in posterior dislocation or subluxation of forearm in combination with marginal fracture of head of radial bone due to subcapital osteotomy of radial bone with rotation of its head so that the defect of the head was displaced outwards and backwards and removed from the shearing load of the head of the condyle of the humerus.
