SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to otorhinolaryngology and otiatrics. Surgical operation is performed by transmastoid approach. In case of labyrinthine fistula in chronic suppurative otitis media, defect zone of bone wall of at least one semicircular canal is obliterated with fragments of autofascia of temporal muscle till defect overlap. In case of labyrinthine fistula with dehiscence of superior semicircular canal, legs of semicircular canal are obliterated with fragments of temporal muscle autofascia to overlap of superior semicircular canal, isolating dehiscence area from vestibular receptors.

EFFECT: method enables the surgical treatment of peripheral vertigo in the patients with chronic suppurative otitis media complicated by the labyrinthine fistula and with dehiscence of the superior semicircular canal or Minor syndrome, preserve auditory and vestibular functions, improve patient’s quality of life.
