FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology. A partial ossicular prosthesis for the surgical treatment of patients with chronic otitis media and epidermization of the tympanic cavity has the ability to restore the defect in the ossicular chain between the stirrup head and the neotympanic membrane and form the lumen of the tympanic cavity. The prosthesis is a solid cylinder made of an elastic material with a hardness of 60 Shore A, including an aseptic filler, evenly distributed throughout the volume. The height of the solid cylinder is 2.5 mm and the diameter is 2 mm. On one base of the one-piece cast cylinder, a cylindrical cutout for the head of the stirrup is made, and on the other base, two linear notches are made to stabilize the prosthesis on the neotympanic membrane.
EFFECT: ensuring the formation of the lumen of the tympanic cavity and the restoration of the sound-conducting function without repeated operations.
