FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and power electronics, in particular to static electrical converters of alternating voltage to direct voltage. Aim of the invention is to improve the functionality, increase the reliability of its operation, reduce the weight, size and cost of a multi-level voltage rectifier. Object of the invention is to realize a multilevel voltage rectification scheme without the use of a power transformer. Proposed device allows to exclude the expensive and overall power transformer from the multi-level voltage rectifier circuit. If it is necessary to control the output voltage of a multilevel voltage rectifier, the proposed device can be implemented on semi-controlled or fully controllable power switches. If it is necessary to reconcile the voltage levels of the power supply and the load of the multi-level voltage rectifier, it can be equipped with a simple two-winding matching voltage transformer. Goal is achieved by the fact that the multi-level voltage rectifier circuit further comprises two capacitors in each single-phase rectifying cell assembled on two diodes, and the phases of the source of the multiphase AC voltage are electrically isolated from each other.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing weight, dimensions and cost, as well as improving the functionality of the multi-level voltage rectifier and increasing the reliability of its operation.
