SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a polyphenylene sulphide-based polymer composition for making structural, electrical and general-purpose parts, containing polyphenylene sulphide, copolymer of ethylene with glycidyl ether of unsaturated carboxylic acid, heat stabilizer and glass fibre, characterized in that the composition as a heat stabilizer contains sterically hindered phenol or aminophenol and sterically hindered phosphite and additionally contains hydrotalcite and powdered filler, selected from the group consisting of micromica, magnesium hydroxide and microwollastonite, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: polyphenylene sulphide 24.00–35.40; copolymer of ethylene with glycidyl ether of unsaturated carboxylic acid 2.00–10.00; sterically hindered phenol or aminophenol 0.10–1.50; sterically hindered phosphite 0.10–1.50; glass fibre 30.00–50.00; hydrotalcite 0.20–1.50; powdered filler selected from a group comprising micromica, magnesium hydroxide and microwollastonite 10.00–30.00.
EFFECT: production of polymer compositions practically free of chlorine ionic impurities, based on polyphenylene sulphides of technical grades, improvement of strength characteristics and impact viscosity index on notched specimens.
