SUBSTANCE: device for determining spontaneous movements of the patient's head using a piezo-optical pressure transducer, comprising an elastic deformation sensor, light source for generating light and means for receiving and recording data obtained from the elastic deformation sensor, the elastic deformation sensor includes a stop rod located along the axis of the housing of the locking support screw, one end of which rests against the patient’s skull bone, and the other one—against the photoelastic sensitive element installed in the head of the body of the fixing stop screw.
EFFECT: development of a device for real-time high sampling rate determination of spontaneous movements of the patient's head, rigidly fixed in a stereotaxic helmet, in the treatment of head tremor by the method of focused ultrasound under the control of MRI.
