FIELD: medical science.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to endocrinology and neurosurgery, and may be used for increasing cranial bone tissue ultrasonic conductivity in the patients having motor disorders such as Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, who are to be treated with focused ultrasound aided by magnetic resonance imaging. Method involves administering a preparation of biphosphonate to the patients having bone ultrasonic conductivity coefficient (BUCC) less than 0.35. As a biphosphonate, the preparation of Bonviva 3 mg is administered intravenously in bolus for 15-30 seconds once every 3 months, Aquadetrim at dose of 1500-5500 IU a day and Calcium D3 Nycomed at dose of 500 mg + 200 IU 2 times a day, therapeutic course makes 3-6 months.

EFFECT: use of the invention allows achieving a significant increase in the cranial BUCC in the patients with an initial BUCC less than 0.35, achieving a threshold value for performing thalamotomy using focused ultrasound under magnetic resonance imaging (MR-FUS) control.
