FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar and radio communication technology, and is used in synthetic aperture radars and other devices that emit and receive electromagnetic waves with linear or circular field polarization. The result is achieved by the fact that in a hybrid two-mirror antenna system, all elements of the antenna array simultaneously participate in beam formation, the beam formed by the antenna array is focused on the surface of the elliptical counter-reflector, and the beam is controlled by changing the position of the focusing point of radiation from the transmitting-receiving controlled antenna array to counter-reflector surfaces.
EFFECT: increase in the power value and maximum sensitivity of an antenna constructed from fixed parts.
