FIELD: various technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of repairing long-length damages, preferably, of large-sized structures, monolithic or with cellular filler, from polymer composite materials, leakage of which does not allow using a vacuum bag for installation of patches compensating for loss of strength, for example, panels of aircraft and sea vessels. Method of repairing large-size cellular non-tight structures from composite materials, the leakage of which does not allow using a vacuum bag for installation of compensating patches, involves installation of a simplified equipment on the damaged unit during repair of damages. Tooling includes a set of power elements and an air bag with compressed air placed in a metal box. Set of load-bearing elements and a metal box with a back pressure bag are installed in the repair zone on the opposite side. Holes are drilled in the repaired structure, in which process pins are placed and power elements are fixed. After that, air is fed into the air bag through a pneumatic tube with a pressure gauge and an air reducer, creating excess pressure in the repair zone at the end of the glue hardening cycle. Tooling is removed, wherein glue inserts are formed in holes for process pins. Glue inserts provide additional reinforcement of the structure near the repair zone of large-size cellular non-tight structures from composite materials.

EFFECT: invention provides higher reliability of fixation of device for creation of excess pressure and reduction of required area for its installation.
