FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: electric DC motor comprises a stator with a linear armature and a commutator and a movable magnet-inductor located between the poles of the armature and connected to brushes supplying current to the commutator. The commutator lamellas in contact with the brushes are connected to the windings of the armature poles located one pole step ahead of the position of the magnet-inductor in the direction of its movement, which is set by the direction of the current through the brushes, switched by two switching elements actuated by limit switches located on the commutator body and the brush holder rod, as well as using auxiliary relay devices.
EFFECT: improved manufacturability of the design.
