SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics and neonatology, and can be used for prenatal expression of colostrum in patients before elective caesarean section for feeding newborn immediately after attachment to mother’s breast in operating room. Patient performs a single manual expression of the mammary glands in interval of 1 to 3 hours before the planned caesarean section in the presence and under the supervision of a medical worker, alternating glands every 2–3 minutes, into a marked sterile syringe without a needle. Total expression time is 10–30 minutes.

EFFECT: invention provides colostrum obtaining by newborns directly in the operating room in the first hour after delivery, stimulates an increase in the amount of colostrum, reduces total amount of supplementary feeding in maternity hospital, reduces frequency of pre-breast feeding, frequency of delay of second phase of lactogenesis in mother, frequency of hypogalactia.
