SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a garment steamer comprising a stand assembly, ironing board (102), a setting surface (SS) and interacting with the stand assembly for vertical orientation or horizontal orientation, steamer head for steam release, holder (104) for holding the steamer head and hinged joint (105) located between the ironing board and the holder. Hinged joint comprises first end (E1) attached to ironing board, and second end (E2) attached to said holder. Holder is fixed relative to the second end. Articulated joint has axis of rotation (AA) inclined at first angle (A1) in range [+10; +65] degrees relative to ironing board surface (SS).

EFFECT: enabling the holder to turn relative to the ironing board so that: when the ironing board is in a vertical orientation, the holder can take a first position for holding the steamer head, and when the ironing board is in the horizontal orientation, the holder can take a second position for holding the steamer head.
