SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a garment steamer for treating clothing. Garment steamer comprises a rack assembly extending along a substantially vertical axis (YY). The rack assembly (102) comprises a first rack (102a) and a second rack (102b). The garment steamer also comprises an ironing board (103) for supporting the garment during treatment, and a connector (104) for connecting the ironing board (103) and the rack assembly. The connector (104) is configured to ensure the rotation of the ironing board (103) relative to the rack assembly (102) around a first axis (A1) substantially perpendicular to said vertical axis (YY). The garment steamer (100) also comprises a mechanism for setting the angle (AA) of rotation of the ironing board (103) around the first axis (A1). The mechanism comprises a handle (106) with to the ironing board (103) via a hinged connecting sleeve (107) rotating around a second axis (A2) parallel to the first axis (A1). The handle (106) comprises multiple recesses (G1, G2) configured to interact with a rod element (109) protruding from any one from said first rack and said second rack (102b).
EFFECT: higher convenience of using the steamer.
