SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to the field of agriculture and is intended for cleaning the main separated material from light impurities using a vertical air flow perpendicular to the movement of the main material being cleaned, which has direction: from the input device along the horizontal surface of the aspiration channel to the sedimentation chamber. Air separator includes an aspiration channel installed on a frame and connected to each other the aspiration channel with a loading hopper and a distributing device for feeding material, a fan, a settling chamber and a dust collector. Separator is equipped with a flexible insert installed between the loading hopper and the aspiration channel and configured to change the angle of inclination of the aspiration channel, as well as electronic modules located in a common box, which include a switchgear driver, made automated and containing an electric motor, linear actuator driver, which controls the aspiration channel inclination angle change, the fan air speed controller, the dust collector air speed controller, aspiration channel angular position sensor connected to control and display unit with possibility of aspiration channel inclination control and power supply unit. Control and indication unit is made with possibility of action through drivers on electric motor of automated switchgear and linear actuator, and through air speed regulators – to fan and dust collector. Automated distributing device of material input is installed between loading hopper and flexible insert.

EFFECT: minimization of losses of the main separated material into a fraction with impurities, as well as increased quality of cleaning from light impurities with a vertical air flow.
