FIELD: membrane separation.
SUBSTANCE: hollow fiber membrane unit operating at external pressure comprises a housing having an inner chamber, two end elements arranged on two ends of the inner chamber of the housing, wherein each of the end elements has at least two free channels passing through the end element along the axial direction of the housing, and at least two channels for collecting water, communicating with each other, wherein the free channels and channels for collecting water are arranged alternately, wherein the ratio of the width of the channel for collecting water to the width of the free channel is less than 6, and packages of hollow fiber membrane located in the inner chamber of the housing, wherein the width of said packages is less than or equal to 60 mm.
EFFECT: disclosed is a hollow fiber membrane assembly operating at external pressure, a filtration membrane assembly and a membrane filtration module.
