SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a phytotherapeutic agent having analgesic and decongestant properties. Gel, having analgesic and decongestant properties, for application on back, muscles and joints, containing menthol, camphor and alcohol extract of paprika, which additionally contains alcohol extract of aloe leaves, alcohol extract of green tea leaves, alcohol extract of St. John's wort herb, alcohol extract of witch hazel bark and roots, alcohol extract of chestnut nut, alcohol extract of arnica herb, alcohol extract of calendula herb, hydrogenated castor oil, carbomer, phenoxyethanol, sodium hydroxide solution 10% and water, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: menthol 0.5–0.7; camphor 0.3–0.5; alcohol extract of paprika fruit 1.0–2.0; alcohol extract of aloe leaf 1.0–2.0; alcohol extract of green tea leaves 1.0–2.0; alcohol extract of St. John's wort herb 1.0–2.0; alcohol extract of witch hazel bark and roots 1.0–2.0; alcohol extract of chestnut nut 1.0–2.0; alcohol extract of arnica herb 1.0–2.0; alcohol extract of calendula herb 1.0–2.0; hydrogenated castor oil 0.9–1.1; carbomer 0.4–0.6; phenoxyethanol 0.9–1.1; sodium hydroxide solution 10% 1.0–1.5; water – balance.

EFFECT: above-described gel enables to effectively activate metabolic processes in the skin and subcutaneous fat layer, improve tissue regeneration, accelerate penetration of active substances into biological cell membranes, has improved consumer properties, is stable.
