FIELD: railway construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to repair of railways, particularly, to determination of quality of ballast cleaning/cutting by ballast cleaning machines. Signals from the georadar antennas are fixed, one of which is installed on the crushed stone cleaning machine before the ballast rake device is placed, with provision of signals on state of crushed stone on repaired section of railway track to georadar receiver before its cleaning, and the second antenna is on the crushed stone cleaning machine after its hopper, distributing the cleaned crushed stone into the path, ensuring transmission of signals on the state of crushed stone on the repaired section of the railway track to the georadar receiver after cleaning, measuring the ambient humidity, taking into account of which signals from georadar antennas are processed; processed signals from antennas and signals from video camera are transmitted to data processing device and analysing signals from video camera and comparative frequency analysis of signals from georadar antennas, on the basis of which there performed is quantitative evaluation of impurities in cleaned crushed stone, evaluation of sizes, fraction and flakiness of cleaned crushed stone returned to the way. Crushed stone cleaning quality control system comprises a crushed stone cleaning machine, a georadar with antennae, an ambient humidity sensor, a video camera and a data processing device.

EFFECT: improved quality control of crushed stone cleaning and increased reliability of information on presence of impurities in cleaned crushed stone, sizes, fractions and flakiness of cleaned crushed stone returned to the way.
