FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: concealed sprinkler head includes a frame having a body configured to be attached to a fire extinguishing fluid source, a pair of frame arms and a pair of corresponding protruding pins sliding with the corresponding frame arm. Thermal shut-off mechanism is installed inside the above sprinkler frame. Fluid deflector is fixed to said protruding pins and comprises a substantially horizontal surface. Said protruding pins extend substantially perpendicular from said horizontal surface. Inclined surface of said fluid medium deflector extends at an angle upward from said horizontal surface. Masking cup surrounds the said frame arms. Cover plate is attached to said masking cup, covering its distal end, in which said protruding pins and deflector are located inside said masking cup.
EFFECT: said cover plate can be removed from said masking cup to allow said protruding pins and deflector to move in axial direction from said masking cup into working position.
