SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a heater assembly and an aerosol-generating device containing such a heater. Heater assembly for accommodating and heating an aerosol-generating product containing a tobacco rod and a filter rod, comprises a receiving space in which an aerosol-generating article is inserted, a winding surrounding at least a portion of the receiving space and configured to generate an induced magnetic field, a current collector located in the receiving space and configured to generate heat depending on the induced magnetic field, and a heat-insulating part comprising a material different from the current collector, connected to the current collector and the bottom of the receiving space and configured to absorb heat generated by the current collector. In the state in which the aerosol-generating article is completely inserted into the receiving space, the distal end part of the current collector is located upstream of the boundary between the tobacco rod and the filtering rod inside the aerosol-generating article.
EFFECT: preventing rapid increase in temperature in the lower part of the current collector by combining the heat-insulating part with the current collector and the lower surface of the receiving space.
