FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic structures and can be used to prevent the ingress of soil particles into a piezometer, and can also be used to measure the level of groundwater in construction, in particular in the field of engineering surveys for construction, observation wells, drinking water supply wells. Proposed device comprises metal tube and ring with foam metal sponge soldered thereto. Conical tip is soldered on the lower end of the filter. Diameters of metal pipe and filter do not exceed diameter of conical tip. To clean the filter from clogging, an ultrasonic cleaner placed in the cavity of the filter is used. Filter is made of a solid metal sponge with an inner hole.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher reliability.
