SUBSTANCE: method for obtaining luminous and non-luminous images on light-conducting panels and can be used to form the necessary image in instrument panels that require increased resistance to electrostatic discharge, for example, in a vehicle control panel. The method of obtaining an image on a light-conducting panel is that on the backside of the light-conducting panel, using a machine, an recess for the backlight board, holes for LEDs, and mounting holes for subsequent gluing of metal threaded bushings for the backlight board, as well as holes for metal mounting bushings are milled. Moreover, the holes for the LEDs are made with a cone protruding to the outside. Then the light guide is painted by applying a reflective and conductive layer to the light guide, which is RAL9003 HR enamel, then a light-insulating layer, which is RAL9005 HR enamel, then several layers of conductive enamel are applied to the back side of the light guide, after which the finishing coat is applied a layer of enamel, then using a UV printer, non-luminous images are applied using an inkjet method, after which, using laser engraving, luminous inscriptions and images are applied by removing the top layers of paintwork to white enamel. Then metal mounting sleeves are installed on the light-conducting panel, with the surface of the sleeve in contact with the conductive enamel.

EFFECT: improved operating safety of vehicles containing devices with light-conducting panels.
