SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the general field of electrical switches. Mechanism (100) for electric switch comprises: base (110), drive dog (126) installed with possibility of rotation in base (110; 210) between two positions for establishment or interruption of contact of movable contact element (124A) with fixed contact element (132), compressible element (150), movable between two configurations, specifically inactive configuration, in which it is inactive with respect to drive dog (126), allowing drive dog (126) to freely occupy one or the other of said positions, and an active configuration in which it enters between the support surface of base (110) and drive dog (126) and is pressed against drive dog (126), returning drive dog (126) to one stable position among said two positions, retaining element (160) for retaining compressible element (150) in said inactive configuration, wherein in said active configuration, said compressible element (150) is free from any interaction with retaining element (160) and is movable along axis (T1) of movement between said support surface and driver, and in said inactive configuration interacts with said retaining element (160), blocking this mobility, wherein said retaining element (160) is fixed on base (110).
EFFECT: simplified design with simultaneous reduction of switch dimensions.
