FIELD: technology of producing foam materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in making foam plastics based on polymer compositions. Method of producing foam materials involves obtaining a mixture of a first reagent based on a mixture of hydroxyl-containing substances and process additives and a second reagent based on a solution of oligomeric isocyanate in low molecular weight isocyanate. Mixture of hydroxyl-containing substances is a mixture of Laprol 805B and Lapramol 294. Second reagent additionally contains an isocyanate with a higher molecular weight than that of the low-molecular weight isocyanate, and is diethylene glycol urethane. All components are taken on the basis of equality of the total number of isocyanate groups of components of the second reagent to the total number of hydroxyl groups of the first reagent. Then, the first reagent is mixed with the cooled second reagent and formed during foaming and solidified in a limiting form. Process is carried out at a temperature not exceeding the decomposition temperature of all interacting components.
EFFECT: proposed invention increases mechanical strength of finished material due to increased impact strength.
