FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas industry and can be used for development and development of technologies and process plants for production of hydrogen from natural gas with limited carbon dioxide emissions. Technological experimental-demonstration complex for the development of technologies for producing hydrogen from natural gas includes a unit for preparing the initial raw material, a unit for pyrolysis of natural gas, water preparation unit, hydrogen-containing gas cleaning and drying unit, solid carbon material trapping unit, hydrogen extraction unit, hydrogen compression unit, finished products unit and hydrogen or hydrogen-containing gas sampling unit. Initial raw material preparation unit consists of modular cassette units, natural gas heater, desulphurisation reactor, as well as regulators and meters of mass flow rate of raw gases with accompanying peripheral equipment and sensors for measuring pressure and temperature. Natural gas pyrolysis unit consists of experimental plants for production of hydrogen from natural gas. Water treatment unit consists of a container with distilled water, a cooling agent container, two refrigerators, two circulation pumps, a dosing pump and a water distiller or demineraliser. Hydrogen-containing gas cleaning and drying unit consists of a separator of a wet cyclone type Venturi scrubber, separator of water and hydrogen-containing gas, water separator, reservoir for collection, drying and storage of solid carbon material. Hydrogen compression unit consists of a hydrogen compressor and its peripheral equipment, such as a receiver, anti-surge lines, unit of finished products consists of a reservoir for collection of solid carbon material and a reservoir of cylinder type for gaseous hydrogen. Process complex also includes process plug lines equipped with ejectors and air blowers for afterburning of unused products and exhaust gases formed during operation of plants.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of testing and development of experimental and pilot plants for production of hydrogen and/or HBG with subsequent confirmation of the declared parameters.
