SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vascular surgery. 7 days before the laparoscopic gastric surgery, the first stage involves crossectomy followed by radiofrequency ablation of the left great saphenous vein in a retrograde manner. In the postoperative period, low-molecular heparins are used and elastic compression is performed.
EFFECT: method enables to prevent the development of venous thromboembolic complications, namely pulmonary artery thromboembolism (PATE) in comorbid patients after surgical treatment of benign gastric diseases.
