METHOD OF TREATMENT OF ACUTE, ASCENDING VARICOSE THROMBOPHLEBITIS OF LOWER LIMB VEINS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B18/20 A61B8/12 A61B17/34 A61M5/178

Abstract RU 2654570 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to vascular surgery. Perform preliminary preoperative preparation, perform a puncture at a distance of 0.5 cm to 1 cm above the head of the thrombus. Through the installed introducer, a light guide with a conical end is inserted over the thrombus. Under ultrasound control, tumescent anesthesia is performed, and the endovenous laser obliteration of the vein shaft is performed at a rate of 70 to 100 J for 1 cm of vein, the wavelength of the laser radiation is selected to be 1460 nm. Then, the elastic compression of the operated lower limb is performed.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce the traumatic nature of surgical intervention, to shorten the period of temporary incapacity for work and to accelerate their social and labor rehabilitation.
