FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gas industry, and more specifically to the field of gas dispersion in liquid, and can find application in power engineering, oil and gas industry, chemical industry and in ecology, for example, for utilization of carbon dioxide and its storage at the bottom of the ocean at low temperature and high static pressure, as well as in laboratory studies of physical and chemical processes in bubble media. Method of gas bubbles dispersion in liquid consists in filling of reactor with gas-liquid mixture and action of gas-liquid mixture with pressure shock waves. Gas-liquid mixture is subjected to electric pulse action by exciting electric discharge in reactor working zone between electrodes to ensure the formation of a spherical strong shock wave with pressure in the front of the strong shock wave, which is in range from 1 to 35 MPa, focusing of reflected shock waves from reactor walls is performed, compression and asymmetric collapse of gas bubbles due to interaction of shock wave with bubble surface, formation of a liquid cumulative jet in the direction of incidence of the shock wave on the gas bubble and destruction of the bubble into smaller gas bubbles with simultaneous turbulence of the surrounding liquid.
EFFECT: development of method of gas dispersion in liquid with high intensity of hydrate formation.
