FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of strips intended for movement of cargoes in aircraft industry, as well as for lifting and movement of cargoes on water and motor transport. Method of making a lifting strap, including preparation of threads, adjustment of a loom, wherein on each thread are suspended by 2 weights from 35 to 50 grams, at that, the lifting strap contains warp and weft threads, interwoven with one-and-a-half-layer with a backing warp with formation of a non-unfolding edge, filaments used are polyarylate fibers based on aromatic polyesters, total number of filaments in the warp is from 96 to 480, weft density of the tape is from 4×2 to 7.5×2.
EFFECT: allows to obtain strip with high degree of wear resistance, high abrasive resistance, resistance to action of salt sea water, high specific strength, high breaking characteristics.
