SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device and a method for releasing an indicator into a production well for measuring flow and monitoring inflow profiles in a wellbore during production. Method includes placement of at least one device for output of indicator in production hydrocarbon well in place of inflow. Said at least one indicator discharge device comprises fluid volume and tracer material arranged in said fluid volume. At least one indicator release device is suspended during production to increase concentration of indicator molecules in said volume of fluid medium. Indicator molecules are released from said at least one indicator device into the produced stream. Presence of an indicator downstream of the influx is detected.
EFFECT: high efficiency of producing the indicator.
