FIELD: electronic communication devices; displays.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to user electronic communication devices, such as flexible display devices. Foldable electronic communication device with a flexible display, comprising two housings containing electronic components, and the hinge housing located between them also includes a hinge assembly assembled on the hinge housing for connection with the possibility of rotation of the first housing and the second housing. Device comprises a flexible printed circuit board electrically connecting electronic components by means of a hinge housing, and a flexible display located from the area of the first housing to the area of the second housing through the hinge assembly, and a supporting part located between the flexible printed circuit board and the flexible display, wherein the supporting part is located in the gap of the hinge housing, and the hinge plates are attached to the first housing and the second housing respectively and are located adjacent to the supporting part. In addition, the supporting part comprises a central portion located between the hinge plates, when the first housing is unfolded for 180° state, supporting the third portion of the flexible display between the first portion and the second portion, and supporting portions formed on opposite sides relative to the central section. At that, the first supporting section is made with possibility to support part of the first plate of the hinge, when the first housing is in expanded on 180° state, and first supporting portion is made with possibility of separation from part of first hinge plate, when the first housing is in a folded state, the second supporting portion is configured to support a part of the second hinge plate, when the first housing is unfolded for 180° state, second supporting portion is made with possibility of separation from part of the second hinge plate when the first housing is in a folded state. As the electronic device rotates from a folded state to 180° state, the supporting part moves to the flexible display to support at least one area of the flexible display. At the same time, as the electronic device rotates from 180° state into a folded state, the supporting portion moves to the flexible printed circuit board to be spaced apart from the flexible display.
EFFECT: supporting the flexible display in the unfolded state of the electronic device and preventing damage to the flexible display when folded.
