SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical composition of raw material (charge) used to produce heat-insulating and structural-heat-insulating building materials with closed porosity. Mixture for production of heat-insulating blocks, containing silica component—ground natural quartz sand, vitreous sodium silicate, anhydrous sodium carbonate, a gasifier and water in the following ratio of components, wt.%: silica component 78.3, glassy sodium silicate 7.8, anhydrous sodium carbonate 1.7, gasifier—silicon carbide 0.4, water 11.8.

EFFECT: wider raw material base for production of foam glass-ceramic materials, high compression strength and reduced water absorption.
