FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to propulsors of surface and submarine vessels. Propulsor with a hydraulic drive comprises a rectangular cross-section chamber with open ends, which is fixed with possibility of rigid attachment to the ship hull, and in which two plates are located, pivotally connected to each other, with possibility of movement in the chamber with small gaps in the plane orthogonal to the plates. End edges of plates and their hinged connection through rods with hinges are made with possibility of movement in orthogonal direction of movement of vessel by means of hydraulic drive consisting of hydraulic pump, pressure control valve, oil tank, flow relay, servo drives, Maltese mechanisms, hydraulic control valves, and hydraulic cylinders.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher efficiency and reduced vibration and noise of hydrodynamic nature of propulsor.
