SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a drilling bit assembly for percussion drilling tools with a fluid drive, as well as to a downhole hammer with such a drill bit assembly. Drilling bit assembly comprises: a percussion drill bit having a head part with a shank extending in the axial direction, a first plurality of axially extending splines on the shank engaged with a first plurality of complementary splines made inside the drive chuck, by means of which the rotary drive from the chuck can be transferred to the shank, and the coupling device on the chuck, adapted for connection of the chuck with the driving facility of the percussion drilling tool with a drive from the fluid medium. During drilling bit and chuck are held in first relative orientation, in which bit is fixed in chuck. Bit is made with possibility of movement in axial direction relative to chuck to bit removal position, in which the bit can turn relative to the chuck into the second relative orientation, in which the bit can be removed from the chuck. Bit is made with possibility of being moved to the bit removal position when the chuck is fully engaged with the drive means, so that the bit can be removed from the drilling bit assembly, when chuck is fully engaged with drive means.

EFFECT: creation of a drilling bit assembly of a simple solid design, from which the bit can be removed without unscrewing the chuck from the tread.
