SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a drill bit-retaining assembly with a submersible hammer for holding a detachable drill bit on a percussion device, as well as a drilling device for percussive drilling of rock with said arrangement. Said arrangement comprises: an annular drive sub-carrier, having a rear end and a radially inward surface, having a radially extending spline for coupling with radially outward-facing splines of the drill bit; retaining ring installed in contact with rear end of driving adapter, having radially facing inside surface and radially outwardly facing surface, as well as axially backward thrust surface for radial overlapping and thrust against projection protruding radially outward from drill bit. In said arrangement at least one passage is formed by at least part of driving adapter and/or retaining ring. Passage has rear end in fluid communication with outer surface of retaining ring and front end in fluid communication with inner surface of driving adapter, to provide a fluid communication path for supplying fluid medium above the outer surface of the retaining ring and the splines of the drive sub.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing strong and reliable retention of drilling bit in addition to formation of required path of fluid medium in area of splines of drive sub.
