FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing a test system for determining concentration of copper, comprising obtaining an indicator plate from a moisture-absorbing base impregnated with a complexing agent, where as the moisture-absorbing base, a modified hemp or flax stack of a milled fraction of 0.10–0.25 mm is used, through a layer of which a solution of lead diethyldithiocarbamate is passed in a temperature-controlled column, obtained by mixing lead acetate and sodium diethyldithiocarbamate for two hours at 800–1,000 rpm and dissolved in carbon tetrachloride, after which the solution is pumped out, and the impregnated stack is mixed with butadiene-styrene latex, dissolved in carbon tetrachloride, and with dibutylphthalate, dissolved in ethanol C2H5OH, and the obtained mixture is pressed into indicator plates, wherein components of the mixture are taken in ratio, wt.%: lead diethyldithiocarbamate 0.4–0.6, butadiene-styrene latex 4–8, dibutylphthalate 2–2.5 and hemp/flax stack, ground fraction 0.10–0.25 mm to 100.
EFFECT: invention improves the quality of the moisture-absorbing base, simplifies the process of making the plates, reduces labor input for its manufacture and more accurate determination of copper concentration.
