FIELD: aviation equipment; rocket engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft and rocket engineering, mainly to aircraft payload docking assemblies, and can be used for attachment of suspended equipment and other components of aircraft. Method of attachment and automatic separation of payload of unmanned aerial vehicle consists in provision of aircraft with mechanical lock, made with possibility of attachment to payload bearing structure by their docking along contact surfaces, gripping the power element of the payload with its subsequent locking and automatic separation of the bearing structure from the payload by releasing the fixing device by the gripping guides, gripping device made in the form of a cylinder with a cavity pressed by a compression spring, slide and return device made in the form of electromagnetic drive or pyrocartridge.
EFFECT: fast coupling and uncoupling of bearing joint without special tools.
