SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mounting attachments on an aircraft. Attached unit positioning evaluation method relative to aircraft airframe outer surfaces is characterized by the fact that through fixed points, which suspensions are fixed on aircraft reference points (3-7), auxiliary planes (24-26) are constructed. Through fixed points, suspensions of which are fixed on other reference points (8, 9) of attached unit (1), an auxiliary line of the attached unit is constructed. Angles of auxiliary line position relative to auxiliary planes (24-26) are determined by heading, pitch and roll. Obtained results of measuring the position of the auxiliary line of the actually mounted attached unit are compared with the required values of the position of the base line of the ideally mounted attached unit and making a decision on the correct installation or the need to correct the positioning of the mounted attached unit.

EFFECT: enabling automation of the measurement process with reduced risk of errors.
