FIELD: monitoring tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for searching for bottom objects using bottom monitoring tools installed on an underwater vehicle. The specified technical result is achieved by the fact that for training an artificial neural network used to recognize bottom objects from images at the output of the bottom monitoring tool, instead of images of objects obtained experimentally in real conditions, images obtained from digital models of objects are used. To do this, when receiving a task to search for a specific bottom object, a three-dimensional digital model of it is created based on a description of its shape and material. Then this model is programmatically converted using the transfer function of the receiving path of the bottom monitoring tool into its digital image at the output of the monitoring tool bottom. After that, using the well-known augmentation technology, the digital image of the object is multiplied for various conditions of its observation. The resulting augmented digital images of the designated bottom object are used for INS training.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the probability of recognizing the designated bottom object.
