FIELD: pulse equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric pulse generators. Result is provided due to the fact that the generator contains a capacitor bank, the energy of which is used by the power keys unit to generate output pulses, as well as due to the fact that the generator contains a controller supplying control pulses to the power keys unit, wherein control over total current due to operation of load sensor, forming with controller current feedback loop, and due to operation of the resistive-inductive element, which protects the high-voltage generator from common overcurrent.

EFFECT: creation of pulse high-voltage generator generating high-voltage high-current pulses with controlled steepness of pulse leading edge, depending on total current in load.
